Upcoming Priorities

Defeating Trump’s candidates in this year’s elections will blunt his attacks and reduce his influence. Supporting historic candidates across the country will send a message that equality wins.

A former naval officer, Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D-NJ) is a pro-equality candidate who is running to defeat Trump's pick in a key race for governor in Nov. 2025.

Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) was a CIA agent who flipped a Republican House seat and is now the nominee for an open seat for governor. She’s a leader who has always stood 100% for LGBTQ+ equality.

Brianna Titone (D-CO) made history in 2018 when she became the first openly trans person to win a seat in the Colo. House. When elected Treasurer in 2026, she will be the first openly trans person elected to a statewide executive office.

First Term Openly LGBTQ+ U.S. House

In 2025, the U.S. House gained three newly elected LGBTQ+ women serving in districts across the country. Each made history with their victories and are serving as champions in Congress.

Delaware At Large: Rep. Sarah McBride (D)

Texas' 32nd District: Rep. Julie Johnson (D)

Washington's 6th District: Rep. Emily Randall (D)
